The Nu Guinea duo pulled off a masterstroke with working with percussion maestro Tony Allen for this divine collection of soothing sounds. This is one album that continually sells whenever we get copies in.

Our inaugural release on the shop label was this modern soul anthem by Mr Chilite Eugene Record. We ensured that the full album version was released on 7″ for the first time ever.

28) California Playboys – Trying To Become A  Millionaire (MFG) LP

This album was a long time respected album within the rare soul scene and was fetching high figures until the re-issue by MFG was made available. we seemed to have copies of this before anybody else. It’s a glorious album of good time soul songs.


27) Diabolical Liberties (Diabolical Liberties) LP

Punk funk madness from the Diabolical Liberties with their debut album ‘Dancefloors Of England.’ We’re proud of the partnership and lovers of the boundaries pushed by the album.


26) Waterson – Tell Me (Back To The World) 12″

Our RSD event featured a sparkling pa from Waterson, his ‘Tell Me’ was an instant winner in the shop. We look forward to the Kenny Dope mixes in 2016.

LA based Greg Belson partnered our friends at Cultures Of Soul to pull off one of our comps of the year with this selection of gospel nuggets for those that like to dig a bit deeper.

The second release by ABCF was warmly received in the shop for continuing their fight to bring the boogie back to house. We look forward to the third installment in 2017.

Our headline act for RSD delivered a hot 12″ with ‘We Come To Rock,’ whilst continuing their crusade for real house.

American vibraphonist Paris Smith album from 96 was pressed 20 years later by Jazzaggression, along with two other of his albums. This is one serious collection of jazz grooves for us all to enjoy.
